Ural Steel releases production figures for Jan-Aug

Russian steel mill Ural Steel, owned by MettaloInvest Holding, has announced its production results for January-August 2006. During the period in question, the mill produced 1.7 million metric tons of pig iron, 2.5 million metric tons of crude steel, and 1.9 million metric tons of finished steel products.
