Universal Stainless announces price increase

Bridgeville-based steel producer Universal Stainless & Alloy Products has announced today that it will increase prices of all types of bar products, including flats, hexagon and square bar products by 6% effective for shipments as of October 1, 2004. The prices are stated to have been increased to offset rising manufacturing costs.
