Unemployment in Turkey up to 9.8 percent in July over June

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey remained unchanged year on year at 9.8 percent in July this year, rising 0.2 percentage points from 9.6 percent in June.
 
Meanwhile, in July the employment rate in Turkey increased to 47.2 percent, with a 0.9 percentage point rise compared to the same month of the previous year.
