Unemployment in Turkey up to 9.4% in May from April

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey increased by 0.1 percentage point year on year to 9.4 percent in May this year, also rising by 0.1 percentage point from the 9.3 percent recorded in April.
 
Meanwhile, in May the employment rate in Turkey increased to 47.5 percent, with a 0.6 percentage point increase compared to the same month of the previous year.
