Unemployment in Turkey falls to 13.2 percent in March

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey decreased by 0.9 percentage points year on year to 13.2 percent in March this year and fell by 0.4 percentage points when compared to February.

Meanwhile, in March this year the employment rate in Turkey was recorded at 42 percent, decreasing by 3.4 percentage points compared to the same month of the previous year.
