Ukrainian pipe output shrinks on Russian quota

The statistics institute of Ukraine's Donetsk region reports that 2004 cast iron, semi-finished steel and finished steel production in the region increased 6.6%, 2.8% and 4.5% respectively. However, due to the continuing Russian quota on Ukrainian pipes, the steel pipe output of the region shrunk 6.2% year-on-year.
