Ukrainian ferroalloy output down slightly in January

In January of the current year, Ukraine's ferroalloy production decreased by 0.5 percent year on year to 82,600 mt, as stated by the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).

Accordingly, in the given month Ukraine's silicomanganese output increased by 9.1 percent to 68,000 mt, its ferromanganese production moved down by 20.8 percent to 6,100 mt, while its ferrosilicon output declined by 43.8 percent to 7,300 mt, all compared to January 2014.
