Ukrainian exports of coke rise by 53.7 percent in January-September

According to the official data for the first nine months of the current year, Ukrainian exports of metallurgical coke increased by 53.7 percent year on year to 1.570 million mt, worth a total of $598.61 million. In September alone, coke exports from Ukraine increased by 2.4 times compared to August to 249,910 mt, and were up 2.8 times year on year.

In the first nine months of 2011, Ukraine registered a 60.3 percent decrease year on year in its metallurgical coke imports to 85,810 mt, worth $33.26 million. In September alone, Ukraine's metallurgical coke imports increased by 39.2 percent compared to August to 9,200 mt, and rose by 6.5 times compared to September 2010.
