According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in August this year Ukraine's steel pipe exports increased by 29.8 percent compared to July, rising to 112,110 mt, worth a total of $137.41 million. In the January-August period, Ukrainian exports of steel pipes decreased by 4.3 percent compared to the same period of 2011, falling to 1.095 million mt, worth a total of $1.328 billion.
On the other hand, in August this year imports of steel pipes to Ukraine decreased by 6.5 percent month on month to 7,520 mt, worth a total of $17.28 million.
