Ukraine’s Southern GOK sees 3.2% fall in concentrate output in Jan-May

In the January-May period this year, the output of iron ore concentrate mined by Ukraine-based Southern Mining and Processing Plant (Southern GOK) decreased by 3.2 percent year on year to 5.11 million mt. In May alone, the company mined 1.11 million mt of iron ore concentrate, up 3.2 percent month on month. In the given period, the company did not produce any iron ore agglomerate, SteelOrbis has learned.
