Ukraine's scrap export activity silent in Q1, scrap imports up 84.6%

According to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, in January-March this year Ukraine did not export any steel scrap, while in the same period of last year the country had exported 123,900 mt of scrap.

Meanwhile, in January-March of the current year Ukraine's scrap imports increased by 84.6 percent year on year to 36,000 mt.
