Ukraine’s Poltava GOK achieves record pellet shipments in March

In March this year, Ukraine-based iron ore mining and processing complex Poltava GOK, a part of Swiss-headquartered miner Ferrexpo, managed to increase its shipments sharply. Its iron ore pellets shipments reached a new monthly record level of 1.149 million mt in March, surpassing the previous record achieved in December 2016 by 37,000 mt.

As SteelOrbis reported previously, in the January-March period this year, Ferrexpo’s total iron ore production increased by 7.4 percent year on year to 2.725 million mt.
