Ukraine’s long steel exports and imports increase in Jan-Sept

In the January-September period of the current year, Ukrainian exports of long steel products increased by 0.5 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2010, rising to 4.307 million mt. In September alone, Ukraine's long steel product exports increased by 6.9 percent compared to August to 550,000 mt.

In the given period, Ukraine registered a 11.2 percent increase year on year in its long steel product imports to 304,000 mt. In September alone, Ukraine's long steel product imports decreased by 23.6 percent compared to August, declining to 41,000 mt.
