Ukraine’s industrial production increases by 9.7 percent in January

In January this year, Ukraine's industrial production grew by 9.7 percent compared to the same month last year, which is lower than the year-on-year growth rate observed in late 2010.

Compared to December 2010, Ukraine's industrial production in January this year went down by 14. 5 percent, which is explained by the large number of holidays in January.
 
In 2010, Ukraine's industrial production had increased by 11 percent year on year. In the autumn of 2010, the country's industrial production grew by 9.9-10.2 percent per month, while in December its increase rate climbed up to 12.5 percent.
