Ukraine’s flat steel exports down 13.1 percent in 2012

In 2012, Ukraine registered an 8.8 percent increase year on year in its flat steel imports to 1.002 million mt, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers. In December alone, Ukraine's flat steel imports decreased by 11.9 percent compared to November, falling to 69,190 mt.
 
On the other hand, in 2012 Ukraine's flat steel exports decreased by 13.1 percent compared to 2011 to 6.497 million mt. In December alone, Ukraine's flat steel exports decreased by 2.4 percent compared to November, falling to 460,220 mt.
