In the January-November period of the current year, Ukraine exported $6.62 billion worth of ferrous metals, down 11.8 percent year on year, according to the data released by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. In November alone, revenues from ferrous metal exports amounted to $632.86 million.
In the January-November period, ferrous metals accounted for 20.24 percent of the total export revenues of the country, decreasing from 21.73 percent registered in the same period of the previous year.
In the given period, Ukraine’s ferrous metal imports increased in value by 13.9 percent year on year to $732.99 million, while in November alone imported ferrous metals totaled $58.41 million.
