Ukraine-based ZZHRK’s iron ore output down 1.6 percent in Jan-Sept

In the January-September period of the current year, the output of iron ore mined by Ukraine-based Zaporizhzhia Iron Ore Plant (ZZHRK) decreased by 1.6 percent year on year to 3.423 million mt. In the meantime, its iron ore shipments in the first nine months totaled 3.423 million mt, both to local and foreign steel mills.

In September alone, the company mined 382,800 mt of iron ore, up four percent month on month, while its shipments to customers amounted to 383,200 mt.
