Ukraine-based Sukhaya Balka’s iron ore output down 9.4% in January

In January this year, Ukrainian iron ore mining and processing complex Sukhaya Balka, a part of DCH Group, mined 221,100 mt of commercial iron ore, down 9.4 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the previous month Sukhaya Balka had mined 198,200 mt of commercial iron ore, SteelOrbis has learned from a local media source.

In 2020, the company’s commercial iron ore output amounted to 2.554 million mt, down 6.3 percent year on year.
