Ukraine-based KZhRK’s iron ore output rises by 3.2 percent in Q1

In the first quarter this year, Ukraine’s Dnipro region-based iron ore producer Kryviy Rih Iron Ore Industrial Complex (KZhRK) saw its iron ore output increase by 3.2 percent year on year to 1.037 million mt of iron ore, according to local media sources. In March alone, the company’s iron ore production totaled 390,000 mt, SteelOrbis understands.

In 2019, KZhRK’s total iron ore production amounted to 4.397 million mt, down four percent year on year.
