The Russian Federation's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT) and the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy are to sign an agreement on June 22 for the regulation of exports of Ukrainian origin cold rolled flats into Russia.
The preliminary terms of the agreement were reached at a meeting of representatives of both parties on June 21. The agreement which entails self-limitation by Ukraine of its cold rolled flats exports to Russia is part of a large economic cooperation program and action plan between Russia and Ukraine for 2008-2010.
The new agreement will came into effect as of July 2007.
