Ukraine releases Jan-May export data

The Ukrainian State Committee of Statistics has issued the export data for the January-May 2007 period.

Accordingly, during the period in question Ukraine increased pig iron exports by 103.3 percent to 841,870 metric tons; however, it registered a decrease of 0.5 percent in its iron ore exports to 7.8 million metric tons, a drop of 7.1 percent in semis exports to 4.9 million metric tons, and a slide of four percent in its flats exports to 3.4 million metric tons.
