Ukraine offers Makeevsk Metallurgical and Makeevsk Coke-Chemical for sale

The Ukrainian government in its decision No. 474-r dated April 28, 2009, has announced that it has included a 73.368 percent stake in Makeevsk Coke-Chemical Plant and a 60.86 percent stake in Makeevsk Metallurgical Plant in the list of items to be subject to privatization in 2009.

The nominal value of the stake in question in Makeevsk Coke-Chemical Plant amounts to UAH 7.854 million (approx. $980,560), while the nominal value of the stake in Makeevsk Metallurgical Plant is UAH 215.532 million (approx. $26.9 million).
