Ukraine issues production results for Jan-Oct

In the first 10 months of the current year, Ukraine registered a six percent decrease in its finished steel product output to 22.215 million mt, a seven percent decrease in its crude steel output to 27.143 million mt and a one percent decline in its pig iron production to 23.740 million mt, all year on year, according to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers.
 
The country's production of metallurgical coke in the given period went down by 2.7 percent year on year to 15.911 million mt.
 
In the January-October period this year, Ukraine produced 56.338 million mt of iron ore concentrate and 18.689 million mt of iron ore pellets - up one percent and three percent respectively compared to the same period last year.
 
In October alone, Ukraine produced  2.551 million mt of crude steel - down 1.2 percent, and 1.5 million mt of metallurgical coke - up 3.2 percent, both on month-on-month basis.
