The Ukrainian Ministry of Industrial Policy and the country's Ministry of Economy intend to propose the removal of the quota regime on supply of certain Ukrainian flat rolled products to the US while replacing it with self-limitation and the establishment of reference prices for the products in question.

"Ukraine is ready to accept the self-limitation in the price of flat rolled supplied to the USA", stated the first deputy minister of the Ministry of Industrial Policy, Dmitriy Kolesnikov.

Mr. Kolesnikov also said that the government would soon discuss the question with the American side.

The yearly US quota of Ukraine for the subject products is 142,111 metric tons.
