In the January-May period this year, Ukraine exported $468.534 million worth of ferroalloys, down 1.9 percent year on year, with the total export volume for the given period amounting to 377,112 mt, down 0.6 percent year on year, according to the data released by State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
The main importers of Ukrainian ferroalloys in terms of value in the given period were the Netherlands (33.93 percent), Turkey (16.42 percent) and Russia (9.88 percent).
In the first five months of this year, Ukraine imported 22,774 mt of ferroalloys, down 55.9 percent year on year, worth a total of $46.68 million, down 55.2 percent year on year. The main suppliers of ferroalloys imports in the January-May period this year were Russia, which supplied 23.82 percent of the total import volume, Norway (12.51 percent) and India (12.25 percent).
