Ukraine asks for review for AD duty on HDG to Russia

According to latest reports from the industry, in a letter sent to the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ukrainian Government has requested a review regarding the 24.3% anti-dumping duty previously implemented on its hot dipped galvanized exports into Russia. In its argument, Ukraine brings forth its concerns regarding the methods and procedures of the investigation carried out and consequently the lack of dumping proof for implementation of such duty. The 24.3% duty on Ukrainian hot dipped galvanized material was implemented effective from May 8, 2003 to remain valid for two and a half years.
