Turkish metal producers' sales prices up 4.6 percent in Nov from Oct

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November this year the domestic producer price index (PPI) for Turkish industry in general increased by 17.3 percent year on year and was up 2.02 percent month on month, while an average rise of 15.3 percent was registered for the latest 12 months.

In November, the domestic PPI for Turkey's basic metal industry was up by 4.6 percent on month-on-month basis and rose by 42.8 percent compared to the same month of last year. Meanwhile, the average increase in the domestic PPI for the latest 12 months was 41 percent.

On the other hand, in the given month the domestic PPI for Turkish manufacture of metal products, except machinery, rose by 4.1 percent compared to October and was up 21.7 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the sector in question, an average increase of 17.5 percent in the PPI index was registered for the latest 12 months.
