Turkish metal manufacturing capacity usage down in Sept from Aug

According to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, in September this year the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 78 percent, down from 79.5 percent recorded in August, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 77.1 percent in September 2012.
 
Meanwhile, in September of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, increased slightly on month-on-month basis to 71.9 percent, and was up from the 70.9 percent recorded in September 2012.
 
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 75.4 percent in September this year, remaining stable compared to August and up from 74 percent in September 2012.
