Turkey’s seamless pipe imports up 5.7 percent in January-September

In September this year, Turkey's seamless pipe imports amounted to 22,491 metric tons, rising by 24.88 percent compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, while the value of these imports increased by 19.3 percent year on year to $21.2 million, according to the statistics provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

In the January-September period, Turkey's seamless pipe imports increased by 5.7 percent to 171,895 mt, while the value of these imports amounted to $171.9 million, up 6.1 percent, both year on year.
 
In the first nine months, Turkey's seamless pipe imports from China amounted to 81,143 metric tons. China was followed by Russia and Ukraine, with respectively 31,955 metric tons and 17,037 metric tons of seamless pipe exports to Turkey in the given period.
