In February this year, Turkey's rebar exports amounted to 362,658 metric tons, down 33.7 percent compared to January and decreasing by 21.8 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $166.07 million, falling by 36 percent compared to January and down 35.3 percent year on year.

In the given period, Turkey's largest rebar export destination was Yemen which received 235,659 metric tons, up 21.82 percent year on year. Yemen was followed by Israel with 137,094 metric tons and the UK with 59,757 metric tons.
