Turkey's CRC imports up 9.1 percent in January

In January this year, Turkey's cold rolled coil (CRC) imports decreased by 13.3 percent month on month to 59,111 mt as compared to the previous month and were up 9.1 percent year on year, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). The value of these imports was $38.84 million, decreasing by 14.6 percent month on month and up 37.7 percent year on year.

 

In the given period, Russia ranked first among Turkey's CRC import sources, supplying 18,557 mt, down 27.5 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the given period, Turkey's CRC imports from Belgium totaled 10,160 mt.
