Turkey's CRC imports rise more than double in January

In January this year, Turkey's cold rolled coil (CRC) imports increased by 82.08 percent month on month to 103,553 mt, up 137.4 percent year on year, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). The value of these imports was $51.41 million, increasing by 72.5 percent compared to December and up 63.2 percent year on year. 

In January, Russia ranked first among Turkey's CRC import sources, supplying 47,136 mt, up 124.17 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the given period, Turkey's CRC imports from Belgium totaled 22,816 mt.
