Tsingshan Steel inks design contract for Indonesian stainless project

Zhejiang Province-based Chinese steelmaker Tsingshan Iron and Steel has signed a contract for the design of its 3 million mt capacity stainless steel project in Indonesia with MCC Beris Engineering and Research Corporation, as announced by China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC).
 
The 3 million mt of stainless steel rolling project includes a 1,780 mm stainless steel continuous hot rolling production line, which will be able to produce hot rolled stainless steel coil with widths of 800-1,500 mm, thicknesses of 2.8-16 mm, and a maximum coil weight of 25 mt.
