US President Donald Trump has announced that he has signed the executive order on strengthening the use of iron and steel products produced in the US, along with other domestically produced goods and services, in federal procurements and through the terms and conditions of federal financial assistance awards, as well as public infrastructure projects.

According to Trump’s statement, for iron and steel products, all manufacturing processes, from the initial melting stage through the application of coatings, have to occur in the United States.
