The largest Russian pipe company TMK Group has stated that the five millionth metric ton of steel has been produced at its Russia-based Seversky Tube Works with the help of an arc furnace.
The arc furnace was first used on October 17, 2008. Seversky Tube Works managed to produce its fifth one million metric tons of steel within 14 months.
