TMK sees 27 percent fall in net profit in 2012

According to its financial results for 2012 in line with international financial reporting standards (IFRS), Russian pipemaker TMK saw its net profit fall by 27 percent year on year to $282 million in the given year. In 2012, the company's sales revenues went down by one percent year on year to $6.688 billion mainly due to the negative impact of currency conversion.
 
TMK's adjusted EBITDA decreased from $1.050 billion in 2011 to $1.040 billion in 2012. Its adjusted EBITDA margin, which had been 16 percent in 2011, stayed at the same level in 2012.
