One of the leading Russian pipe producers TMK Group has announced that it is holding preliminary discussions with the Ukrainian pipe and steel producer Interpipe that may lead to a "potential transaction."
In its release, however, TMK emphasized that the talks between the two companies are in an early and exploratory stage and that there is no certainty that these discussions will lead to any partnership agreement between TMK and Interpipe.
