TMK continues shipments of LD steel pipes for Lukoil’s Pyakyakhinskoye field

Russia's largest oil and gas pipe producer TMK has stated that it is continuing shipments of large diameter (LD) longitudinal welded steel pipes to the biggest Russian oil company Lukoil for the construction of a pipeline system for transporting hydrocarbons produced at the Pyakyakhinskoye gas condensate field.
 
Since the beginning of the project in the fall of 2010, TMK has shipped more than 15,000 mt of K60 grade LD longitudinal welded steel pipes of 1,020 mm and 1,220 mm diameter and of 14 mm and 16.5 mm wall thickness, with trilaminar high-polymeric and external anticorrosion polyethylene coatings.
 
A total of approximately 87,000 mt of LD longitudinal welded steel pipe will be delivered to Lukoil's Pyakyakhinskoye project, continuing up to October 2011. Of this volume, TMK is planning to ship more than 25,000 mt.
 
Lukoil plans to commission the Pyakyakhinskoye field during the fourth quarter of 2011.
