TISCO produces 10.73 million mt of crude steel in 2014

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Co. (TISCO) has announced in its preliminary annual report that it produced 10.73 million mt of crude steel in 2014, including 3.8 million mt of stainless steel, while it achieved an operating revenue of RMB 140 billion ($22.58 billion), with a gross profit of RMB 200 million ($32.26 million).

As for 2015, TISCO said it plans to produce 11 million mt of crude steel, including 4.3 million mt of stainless steel, while it is targeting an operating revenue of RMB 120 billion, with a gross profit of RMB 500 million.
