On June 25, Shanxi Province-based Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. (TISCO) announced its July ex-factory prices for hot rolled products. The details are as follows:
1. HRC
The HRC price has remained unchanged compared with June. The new ex-factory price of 3.0 mm thick Q235 HRC is still at RMB 3,720/mt ($489/mt), while that of 5.5 mm remains at RMB 3,580/mt ($470/mt).
2. Medium plate
Medium plate prices also remain constant compared with June. The new ex-factory price of 12 mm Q235 medium plate is at RMB 3,510/mt ($461/mt), while that of 14-20 mm Q235 medium plate is at RMB 3,450/mt ($453/mt).
The above prices exclude 17 percent VAT and are effective as of June 25, 2007.
