Timken to increase seamless tube prices

According to the statement released by Timken Corporation, the company will increase prices of seamless tubular steel products for shipments as of January 1, 2005. No change in raw material has been announced. The increases are as per the following:
Hot rolled and cold drawn carbon tubing.........8%
Hot rolled, annealed alloy.....................12%
Hot rolled, double thermal treated alloy.......12% 

Exceptions to the above:

All carbon tubing > 9 inch diameter and OD/Wall ratios < 6.5 inch...13% 
All carbon tubing > 9 inch diameter and OD/Wall ratios < 6.5 inch...18%
