Timken increases prices of steel bar products

According to recent news in the market, US steel mill Timken Corporation has recently announced that it increased prices of steel bar products by $30 per ton for all sizes and grades of carbon and alloy steel bars to be in effect for shipments as of April 5, 2004. Prices are reported to have been increased due to rising costs and prices in international markets.
