Timken Company receives bearing order from Indian mill

According to the statement released from US mill Timken Company, the company has received bearing order from Indian Jindal Steel & Power Limited, which is the world's largest coal-based sponge iron plant. The deal, worth $700'000 will provide Jindal with two types of cylindrical roller bearings. The new bearings will be used on six sponge iron kilns that are planned to be set up for the facility. With the new bearings, productivity of the mill is expected to increase.
