Tianjin Rongcheng Steel commissions new alloy steel bar project

The new alloy steel bar project of Chinese steel producer Tianjin Rongcheng Iron and Steel United Group Co., Ltd officially commenced production on February 2, as announced by Beijing-based state-owned Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd (MCC). The Tianjin-based subsidiary of MCC was responsible for construction work on the project which has a designed annual output capacity of 1 million mt.

The alloy steel bars produced by the project will be used mainly in the automotive and railway sectors and are expected to meet strong demand from companies operating in these sectors in Binhai New Area in Tianjin.
