ThyssenKrupp Materials keeps on expanding in Eastern Europe

Dusseldorf based ThyssenKrupp Materials AG, formed in April 2001 during the reorganization of Group, took over 80% share of Ferrosta spol. s.r.o a carbon and stainless steel distributor located in Prague. Following the take over which is in line with ThyssenKrupp's plans to strengthen in Eastern Europe, the Czech company is now operating under the name ThyssenKrupp Ferrosta. It is also reported that activities of the company will be expanded as well as the workforce in the upcoming years. ThyssenKrupp Materials previously succeeded in similar company acquisitions in Hungary and Poland.
