ThyssenKrupp-Ansteel JV to build HDG production line in Chongqing

German steelmaker ThyssenKrupp's China-based joint venture with Chinese steel producer Ansteel is to build a new production line in Yufu Industrial Park in Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing which will produce hot dip galvanized (HDG) sheet for the automotive sector, as announced in a statement issued by Liangjiang New Area.

The joint venture company, ANSC-TKS Galvanizing Co., Ltd, which currently has galvanizing facilities in Dalian, supplies more than 30 automobile manufacturers and holds a 30 percent share in the Chinese galvanized steel sheet market.
