The ex-factory prices of Taiyuan Steel for January 2007

SteelOrbis Shanghai On December 25, Taiyuan Steel announced its ex-factory prices of hot rolled coil and medium plate for January 2007. The details are as follows: Hot rolled prices remained unchanged. The ex-factory price of 3.0 mm thick Q235 hot rolled coil is still at RMB 4,001/mt ($512), while that of 5.5 mm remains at RMB 3,732/mt ($477). Medium plate prices also remained unchanged. The ex-factory price of 14-20 mm Q235 medium plate is at RMB 3,569/mt ($456). The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of December 25, 2006.
