Thai anti-dumping investigation for low carbon WR still ongoing

The anti-dumping investigation is still ongoing in Thailand against the low carbon wire rod imports from Indonesia and Ukraine. The local producers inform Thai authorities that the domestic price has now dropped under the production costs, causing a serious injury to the Thai industry. The foreign trade department of Thailand is still searching for further information in this respect. The petitioner local producers are Siam Iron and Steel CO. (SISCO) and Bangkok Iron and Steel Works Co. Ltd. (BISW) and the suggested duty rates are 38%for Indonesia and 28% for Ukraine.
