TATA Metaliks increases sales and profits in H1 FY 2019

According to financial reports recently released, TATA Metaliks increased its sales of pig iron and pipe in FY 2019 compared to FY 2018. During the FY 2019 (April -September 2018), the entity sold 152,377 mt of pig iron, up 13 percent, compared to 134,627 mt in the same period the previous year. Pipe sales were 97,777 mt in FY 2019 compared to 94,667 mt in the same period the previous year, up 3 percent.

The profit level increase, though, was more pronounced at 21 percent with an EBITDA of Rs 153.75 crore (US$21.0 million) in H1 FY 2019 compared to an EBITDA of Rs 127.05 crore (US$17.4 million) in H1 FY 2018.
