Tangshan to eliminate five million mt of steel capacity in 2018

The municipal authorities in the northeastern Chinese city of Tangshan stated that the city will eliminate 7.81 million mt of iron-making and steel production capacity in 2018, including 2.81 million mt of iron-making capacity and 5.0 million mt of steel production capacity, with the capacity elimination to be completed by the end of November.
